The Sajentic audit replaces 2–3 hours of manual prospect review with an automated analysis that completes in about 90 seconds. Here is exactly what happens — and what doesn't.
The QuickBooks connection is temporary, and we only read
When a prospect completes your portal, they authorize a connection to their QuickBooks Online account. Intuit's approval screen lists everything an accounting connection can see, and it offers no read-only option, so it will look broader than what Sajentic does. What Sajentic does is:
- Reads only — Sajentic only reads. It never writes to, modifies, or deletes anything in their QuickBooks.
- Temporary — the connection is used once for the audit and then immediately destroyed.
What the audit does
- Sajentic pulls the financial reports needed to run the configured health checks.
- Each enabled health check scores a specific aspect of the books (transaction categorization, reconciliation status, payroll setup, and others).
- The individual scores are combined into a single health score for the engagement.
- The health score drives a complexity multiplier applied to your base monthly rate, automatically scaling the quote up or down based on how much work the books require.
The token is revoked and data is purged when the audit completes
As soon as the analysis finishes, an in-process cleanup runs:
- Sajentic explicitly revokes the connection with Intuit. It is the refresh token that is revoked, which ends the authorization itself rather than just one short-lived access token, and both tokens are deleted from our systems.
- The raw financial data pulled for the audit is deleted from our systems.
Cleanup is primary in-process, backed by a daily safety-net job that sweeps any session whose in-process cleanup did not run; a short configured retention window is the authoritative upper bound. Only the derived results — the health score, findings, and generated quote — are retained; the source financial data is not kept beyond the audit run.
You will receive an email notification when the result is ready on your dashboard, where you can unlock the full report (see report limits).
